Serial # from when I pre-ordered <> Serial # retrieved from Stardock Central

Okay,

So I pre-ordered from TotalGaming and got my email with my serial # which I used to download the preload stuff. I am having problems activating, so I decided to hit the button inside the TotalGaming Options screen to lookup my serial #. I entered my email and it sent me my serial number. Now get this!

The serial # it sent was different than the serial number I used to register the game! WTH? I will try the new serial # to see if it lets me activate.

It generates a dynamic serial using the lookup pages, but the base one from your order should work, if it was from the new style 2005 system. If it was one of the older GC2 ones from many months ago, that won't take.
