Diplomatic Option Request

Just as you can request one races assistance to attack another race, I'd like to see an option to request assistance to attack a space monster. My last game had a space shark constantly harrassing me and I couldn't kill the dang thing! Although I haven't encountered them yet, the same request may be good for dealing with pirates and the like.
