SID does not Match!!!!

I have downloaded the game but it comes the error "SID does not match!" What can I do?

We've just sent you a copy of your serial number for GC2 to your email address.

Take the serial number, go into your c:\stardock\totalgaming\galciv2 folder (of wherever it was installed), and locate a file called "sig.bin". Delete this file, and run GalCiv2.exe. You'll be prompted to activate your copy...do this by entering your email address and the game's serial number.

Go to GALCIV2 directory and delete sig.bin

start Stardock Central and right click on Galciv2, select activate product
