Hi all I want to thank you guys for the immense help on getting my game better. I want to work on one of those snazzy racial medals I see some of you sporting. I got a ways to go though, but my interest in the metaverse has been resparked.

I am moving into year 6 in the current saga. Work is getting in the way of playing.  

Holiday times for me. No game play until January. I did buy my brother a copy of the game for Christmas though.

He still goes back and plays colonization for windows...He beats it from starts that I know I couldn't handle. He has tried various new strategy games, but none have stuck like that one. I'm hoping GalCiv might displace it.

Well, I finished the game, started as a metaverse but no option to submit it. Not sure what to do at this point other than write it off. I only got 32K points for it anyway.

Good evening Diplomats.   Started a large/painful meta game. Going to see what kind of score I can drag out of this size map. Should have it done sometime this weekend. Somehow after a dismal looking start, I killed the AI colonizing(surprised myself  ). Now it should be easy street.

Just started a new MV game too. Thought it was about time i played one through as my internet connection i sooo slooow. This new game is a 2 AI 'slog' that has them just outside my spher of influesnce from the start! Hopefully this will mean i come across them faster for trade but can still outrush them to the nicest planets

Time will tell on that.

BTW please remember that the Core will CLOSE on Christmas day as it has for the past 4 years! The site will reopen Boxing day evening. Xmas is a time for families not intenet chatting & this is why the Core closes. Gotta help promote those family ideals people
