Happened during the recalc. Still some problems to iron out though, as I've still got 4 games that didn't get recalculated. Sorry to say but we'll lose about 400K when they fix that.

I think the reclac is not et complete or it is fatally falwed... or may be both. I wish they'd fix it it... This is turnning out to be a lot like the GC1 'verse... busted. And I thought they were going to put a little more effort in to it.

Well I KNOW my scores got nailed. I went from ranked fifty-something to ranked seven hundred fifty-something. Oh well, I'll upgrade after this game is completed.

Be careful with the 1.2-Beta and submitting Metaverse games, my fellow Diplomats - my last game was flagged as "cheated" for some reason I don't understand and it seems to happen to others as well.

The thread is about the 1.2-Beta AI, but all points except planetary building (which is way better now) are still valid from 1.11 or even 1.1.

Greetings Diplomats,

I wanted to join the Galactic Diplomats because it seems that you guys are having fun and are (relatively) serious about playing the game. It seems that all it took was a click of the button in the Metaverse to join. If i have to do anything else just let me know (sure there is some ritual involving getting hit over the head with a metal collectors edition box).

I just got the game a week and half ago, but played GC1 quite a bit. Ive been involved in games like SFC, JK2,JA, HW2,TA, Q1-3, DS, etc.
Im pretty impressed with the GC2 community, it seems that the bickering is kept at a low level.
Im also impressed by the professional level of modding (i had all the Earth Alliance and Minbari ships working before the beta patch wiped out my 'improvements')

Anything else you'd like to know just ask (should i post to the G.Core also?)

There's nothing special needed for joining us, feel free to post at the Core, but it's not a must. The forum software over there deserves its title more than this one here though.

Cool, i just wanted to thank all the people who have worked to get GD to number 1, im wearing the medal even though i havent contributed much, so Thanks

Im working on a game right now, the AI is much better the Dregs and the Horsefaces (the grey merc guys) ganged up on me pretty bad so i went back in time and corrected my errors. Dreg HW just fell in this new alternate reality to an onslaught of my best Cultural Envoys (imagine Angelia Jolie in space, hehe). Wondering why it flipped this time and not the last.
It seems like the fools left their main manufacturing planet with a low population, its targeted to be the first casuality once i flip another Dreg world.
