Dumb freakin bug!!

Well the opening video was great but halfway making a custom race the mouse cursor dissappeared. I didn't have it on hardware cursor but I somehow managed to change it to that but it still wouldn't show up. I exited the game. My mouse still wouldn't show up. I had to restart the computer. I shouldn't have a problem with this. I got the latest drivers for my graphics card. Here are my specs:

Win XP Media Center 2005
1 Gig Ram
128 MB PCI-Express nVidia GeForce 6600 GT graphics card.
Intel HIgh Definition sound card
so much free hard drive space it's amazing.

Why the heck did the game bug out on me?

If your mouse is USB you could try to unplug it and replug it. , then alt-tab back into the game.

Well before I started a new game I put the mouse cursor on hardware and I havn't had a problem with it.
