Why wait to release?

We need full power!!!!!

We are getting traffic down on other sites allowing for more bandwidth.

We also want to make sure we are full staffed "just in case" something needs immediate attention.

We want to make sure that the release goes as smoothly as we can make it so that no customers are frustrated by the experience.

They hate us and they want to watch us squirm.

I know they wouldn't release them last night in case something then went wrong while all the Devs were asleep. Dunno why the wait til middle of the afternoon today, though. I would presume not a retail issue, as many stores won't be receiving the game until later in the week, anyway.

The generous part of my personality likes to think they're holding it back to get some nice little surprise into the bonus pack.

Oh well... whatever the reason, only about three hours to go, hopefully.

Don't get me wrong, but isn't it possible that all stardocks resources are ready at let say 9 o'clock at least on release day?

I'm from europe and most of us can't enjoy the game today because of that.

maybe they are waittin till 3pm est. cause thats when they will be headed out the door. .... just kidding ...im in mountain time. ill still have all day to play no matter what the case. now its time for me to head back to uo.

By the way, if you want to know about making me squirm; Amazon.com was supposed to release today, and now it says it is one-two weeks before shipping. I got the "pre-order" from here (though technically am I pre-ordering if I bought it today and it is "officially" released today?
