You realize that not only did you loose 10 seconds reading the post, but 10 thinking up a reply, 10 typing it, and 10 spellchecking it (optional).

You should ask for your half minute at least ... or cut your losses at 10 seconds and move on.

Also you did not mention what colour your case was, how you modded it, etc. It might not run on blue lit interiors!

You know it is time for an upgrade when they start selling 'home desktop' systems that have better components than yours at the local computer shop. It is nothing $300 worth of pennies won't fix, howevar. *loads penny rolls into wheelbarrow*

Mmhhhh.... Let me see.... If I knew anything about the Internet, I wouldn't go into a public forum and start a thread on what a great setup my system has just for the heck of it. Will it run on my XPS Gen2? Will it? Well, I don't know....

If you think that's bad, you should be glad you don't have my machine:

Athlon 1600+ (OC'ed to 1800+ or 1900+ equivalent)
640mb of PC133 SDRAM ( ! )
128mb Radeon 9600xt (the only part even remotely recently upgraded)

GC2 runs well enough as it is, but fortunately I'm building a new A64 box next week

Old skool RAM

A couple of friends of mine recently stripped 20 decommisioned 10-year old workstations of all the RAM and 4 GB Harddisks.
I wonder what they're gonna do with that junk *rolleyes*
