If I pre-order the boxed version, can I also download it before I actually get the box? Maybe this is a stupid question and if so, I apologize. I'd like the game but I don't think I'd like to buy two of them. Nothing personal. But I'd like the boxed version as well as being able to get it ASAP on my hard drive.

I definitely want to pre-order that Collector's Edition box; when will it be available? Also, to echo what RichVR asked, will preordering this edition also permit me to download the game? I want it ASAP, as he does.

Can we just get clarification that a pre-order for the CD version directly from Stardock automatically means the Collector's Edition?

If you pre-order the game from Stardock you get the Collector's Edition PLUS the ability to download it while you wait (you're given a temporary serial # while you wait for your package to arrive).

What exactly comes with the collector's edition? I have a pre-order for the electronic DL version, but I'd much rather have a boxed copy of the game along with the ability to download it *anyway*, so I e-mailed the tech support team to see if I can change my order around.

I believe you get a fold out tech tree, bonus ship components, and a GalCiv2 Windows theme.

Will the Collector's Edition be available in stores? Or do I have to pre-order through Stardock to get it?

I wish GalCiv 2 to be a huge success...this will give TBS games a new life!

I just preordered my copy from Stardock. Congradulations GalCiv2 team, it's hard to part me from my money, but it looks like you are putting a good product to market.

I hope the preorder I did from the local Gamestop also gets me the collector edition.
