View Angle Skews

I think this bug has been around forever, so it must be a known issue, but after a few searches I couldn't find any relevant post. Often (definitely after I hit quicksave), the game shifts the view angle by a few degrees. This is an admittedly minor issue, but it really bothers me as I often wonder if I'm going crazy seeing things just a little bit out of line.

Is this in fact a known issue? Is there any kind of fix or workaround for this?

I've certainly seen this as well. I don't know about it being often but certainly when the game is saved (or quicksaved). It's not something that I even really considered a bug it's just what happens. As far as a workaround you can use the 1, 2, 3 and 4 hot keys to goto one of the set views. These are the regular keyboard number keys not the numpad numbers. Anyway, 1 sets the default view (30 degrees I think), 2 sets 45 degrees, 3 sets 60 degrees and 4 sets a top down view. AFAIK there's no way to restore a previous view which is what would be required to be a true workaround.

Uncheck the 'Snap-back when rotating' option under the Interface options tab to get rid of the annoying shift. And I'm pretty sure the '2' key sets the default view.

I also think 2 sets to the default view.

Thanks for all the replies, everyone. This is certainly all the workaround I need. Disabling snap-back plus the 2 key should do the trick.
