Phantom Ship

Just noticed a Phantom ship in my current DA game at the 0,0 map location.

Here's a screen shot of when I first encounter the ship. Unlike other ships in the game I can neither select the ship nor can I get an Intelligence Report on it. I don't even get the ship name when I hold the mouse over it.

As far as I can tell it's just sitting there. Maybe it's looking for a way out of the galaxy.

 

 

If I attempt to attack it nothing happens, we just coexist in the same parsec. Perhaps they are from another dimension. Notice how parts of their ship seem to interpenetrate my ship.

 

 

So has anyone else seen anything like this?

Funnily enough, I don't actually recognize that ship style at all - looks kind of like a Drengin transport, but it's blue. Maybe they are from another dimension...

Anyway, this is a known if fairly uncommon bug. I've seen it before once or twice. Loading a save seems to get rid of the "phantom", but as far as I can tell it's basically harmless anyway.

Yeah it was gone the next time I loaded the game. I kind of miss it.
