Cannot Install Galciv2 Ultimate

Hello,

I purchased Galciv2 Utimate Edition (DVD) years ago and  enjoyed playing it.

However, I recently bought a new computer (Win7 64) and the game will not install. It locks when copying after a few % (always at the same point) and the computer freeze.

I tried to copy the files to the HDD or create a disk image (which works fine), but the install still fails.

Please help.

It's possible the disc has gone bad. But if you've registered the game, you can simply log into the Stardock Store with the account you registered it on and download a fresh copy of the full install.

That is what I thought. But I do not understand why copying manually from the DVD works then.

Anyway, I finally managed to install the game using an external HD.

Hello,

 

i've same probleme, i can't install the game. Installation stop at  36% (tutorial/Lesson05_Mgmt.bik

And the program not respond.

I've tried to download from Stardock Store but i don't understand how to download without byuing again the game.

 

Any one can help me please.

You can register retail copies here and download the latest version here after doing so. If you have any further trouble, please contact support@stardock.com.

I was having a similar problem with installing the game, but when I tried to register it to my e-mail, it wouldn't accept the serial number on my copy. I think it might have been a problem with the format I used - what format should the serial number I enter be in?
