If you want to know what is save scumming is: it is basically that you will save before you conduct a risky move or something like that, execute said move, and if it fails, reload and try again.

I will also refer the reloading of games after unfortunate events as Save Scumming.

Anyway, do you guys do Save Scumming?

No. I call it "illegal time travel" and will not do it short of something that is literally fatal to the game (for instance, the time the Dread Lords appeared with a nonexistent ship and crashed the game).

No.

I auto-save often in any case and I notice that I tend to save before executing a risky move but I simply don't reload. Usually when such a stunt fails I can either recover or the game is beyond hope anyway...

I do it in other games, but not in GC2.  However, I usually play with mega events turned off.

I do it in other games where I HAVE to take a risk where failure would merely mean restarting the game until I reached the same situaution.  So,  not in sandbox games.
