So...I guess I should just spit it out: where is my serial number on my CD case for Gal Civ Dread Lords?  I found some 7 digit alphanumberic code, but I don't think that's the serial number I need to get updates cause it's not working with Impulse.

My CD key was on front of the Galactic Civilizations 2 case.

The serial key will generally be over 20 digits (exact length has varied over time) and will contain only 0-9, A-F, and dashes. It's generally on the back of the game manual or above the disc holder in the case. If you purchased a new, sealed copy and there isn't a key in it, please contact support@stardock.com with proof of purchase and they should be able to get things sorted.

Thanks.  I bought this game a long time ago.  Just got a new computer, and went to install Gal Civ 2, but after posting that question, I noticed the expansions and then I noticed mods, so I just bought Gal Civ 2: Ultimate Edition and got a new CD Key

Loving the game again!
