Wow may I say I am seriously sick of playing the PC in Patheon games cuz morons who join game cannot stay, leave, or can't figure out how to port forward their sh*t. "Wow" is all I have to say. Played a 1v1 but in a 5v5 game. People suck who leave. Implement a penalty for leavers!

"We have internally fixed the annoying issue of “A ppplayer has left the game” at the start of skirmish and pantheon games. Basically, when you get a new game going, there’s some data that has to be exchanged between players at the start. But the threshold of time you’re given to do this before it decides you’re too slow is set too low so we’re changing this to be more tolerant. In our tests with players we found on the chat channel who were having problems, it took care of it."
People are dropping before the game because of a mistake Stardock made, and is fixing. Not because they're "morons."
