Dark Avatar Ship Logistics Goes Bonkers

Disappearing Fleets

In a game in which I was doing very well, my logistics capability suddenly went frpm 15 to 0.  All of my fleets disappeared and I was not able to form any fleets.  I researched the next level of logistics but the logistics points remained at zero.  All of ships in these fleets remained in my ship list but could not be located on the map.  Really wierd.  This has only happened in Dark Avatar, I never experienced any thing like this in Dread Lords.  HELP

Sounds like the Plague.

Research Plague Cure in the tech tree...it is (or should be) green. It's all the way at the bottom with no prerequisite techs, IIRC-but it only shows up if a plague event has occurred in the galaxy.

Curing the plague worked although I guess all the crews on the spaceships died and the ships were lost permanently even if they still show up on my ship list. I hope I am not paying maintenance expenses on these missing ships.
