can't launch DA or ToA

Just bought the expansion bundle and installed them via impulse , both games installed fine but once you choose to launch either dark avatar or twilight from the start up menu , they start to go to black screen like they are launching but never do anything. Dread Lords still launches and runs fine. I have no debugg.err for DA or Twilight as they never launch.

any help with this would be greatly appreciated thanks all

If they get that far, there will be a debug.err. The ones for those are written in their folders under My Documents\My Games though rather than the folder the game is in.

Ok cool found the debugg.err and the pref file. Games would start fine once I set the display to match what my desktop display is.

Any reason why neither expansion can check what the orginal game resolution is set to and match that or what the desktop resolution is set to and match that, if they are not able to start in the default resolution of the game.

My display was set to 1440 x 900 , default resolution expansions were trying to start in was 1024 x 768
