game crashes have se running and it doesn't log a thing

Hi:

 

  I uploaded twilight to the latest version.  Running vista home ultimate 32 bit service pack one installed.  The game

crashes to desktop.  I saw in your other posts to have se running = it is and it didn't log an error.  I am about

3/4 way thru game and when swithching for battle viewer back to regular game a box comes up saying an error

has occured and windows is shutting it down.

I'm having the same problem on XP, no exception log gets created. I emailed support, I'll let you know if I hear anything useful.

SmartException doesn't work properly on Vista, so all there is to go on is the debug.err. However it's likely that someone on XP has the same issue, so they should be able to provide the info to the devs to get it fixed.

Thanks what I was going to try is to turn off the combat viewer and see if that
fixes it. I didn't have this issue until the upgrade. I know you guys will keep
plugging away, thanks for such a great series of games.

I turned off the full battle on the combat viewer - I was running that for all battles. I went to quick battles and restarted with my last restart. I was able to
play for over an hour with no problems, it would crash within 5 minutes with the battle viewer on and being in the later stages of the game. It is definatly when swithing from the battle viewer back to regular game.
