Umm is it possible to change UP name and change the issues and what they do?
If not, could those things be softcoded for 2.0 and make 'em moddable?

umm... you can make new issues by editing the UPissues.xml and i guess you can technically change the name of the UP by changing the name in all references, especially those found in the .str files.

I thought that i'd be able to change the name... didn't the mod that translated the game to german change all the names too? I'm not german so i don't obviosly use that.
And as for the issues, i noticed the file soon after i post first post :/

like i said, you can change the name by replacing all of the references to "united planets" and "UP" in the .str files.
