Invalid Registration on Impulse???

I have owned GC2 for about 7 or 8 months (bought it off ebay), and it always has worked fine. However, impulse now says that my registration for the game is invalid and won't let me update.

Installed version: 1.0X.010
Availible Version: 1.50.135

Does anyone know what is going on or what to do?

Did you successfully register it in the past? As eBay copies are frequently used or bootlegged.

If you did have a new, legitimate copy and registered it before with SDC, contact [email protected] and they can fix you up.

Thanks for the help. I'm not sure if I did ever register it successfully, my memory is definitely not the best, and I've had a pretty busy year so I haven't been focusing much on galciv. And although I got it used on ebay, I am almost 100% certain it isn't bootleg. It would have to be the best, most elaborate bootleg copy of a game I've ever seen CDs both appear legitimate, came with box, etc.

I bought the game from best buy but it won't except either of the barcods that were on the backor is the reg # something else

The serial/cd-key is typically printed on the manual or a sticker on the jewel case. It is not the barcode off the box.

If that is the case, then the prior owner probably registered it, and even now retains access to it. In order to get updates, you would need to get your own serial, which [email protected] can provide details about.
