This had begun as a collection of starships based upon the Star Fleet Universe and other sources and has now evolved into the development of a full complete mod.

What you can expect to see:
9 custom major races to choose:
United Federation of Planets; Klingon Empire; Romulan Star Empire; Kzinti Hegemony; Lyran Star Empire; Hydran Kingdom; Gorn Confederation; Tholian Holdfast; and the Interstellar Concordium.

8 Custom minor races.

Custom technology trees and weapons set up for each race.
Custom player useable shipstyles for every race.

2 Custom Immense Maps: "Federation and Empire" and "The General War"

Custom Campaign: "ISC Invasion"

I gladly accept ideas for this mod and collect ships that you make to add to the ship sets. Feel free to share your ideas. I'd love to see your screenshots as well.

Ok minor races. I know we've gone over this a few times but your input is always appreciated.

Ok first there are minor races created by Events.

Dread Lords, the Vegans from another galaxy, and Pirates(such as Jagged Knife).

Dread Lords will be replaced by Andromedan Invaders.
Vegans will be replaced by Neo-Tholian Refuges
And Jagged Knife will be replaced by one of the Orion Pirate cartels. I say one since there will already be a Orion Pirate minor race.

Ok you got those 3 event related ones. I need 8. These ones are for sure:

Orion Pirates
WYN
Lyran Democratic Republic
Seltorians
Paravians
Carnivons

Did I miss anything?

Upcoming F&E ship expansion pack will include 4 vessels. For them to work you will have already needed to download the Federation, Klingon, and Romulan ship packs:

Federation Ships:
Botany Bay(cargo); Chandley (Medium)

Klingon Ships:
D-5 Soulkiller(Large)

Romulan Ships:
V-X Valdore (Large)

Mainly the Siegfried class, Belleau wood, Valley Forge, Quetzalcoatl, or Lancaster class. Anyone of them would be pretty cool.

You can't modify the Jagged Knife.
Oh and BTW do you yhink the Geckodons could added as a minor race?

Yeah I can make the Geckodons a minor race. I just need atleast 1 ship for each hull.

As for the Jagged Knife, I can change the text of the event to reflect the Orion Pirates and I can change their ships to match them.

And I'm not busy? I downloaded your ships before so I'll give it some thought. I thought yours were a good design to reflect your reptillian species. I was hoping you had more already.

Im interested of the relation between shipstyles/configs and AI decisions what to build/research? I've replaced every ship for the terrans, with a hyperdrive only as equipment. Nothing else. But now the AI doesnt research any weapon technology and builds the ships without any.


Pulled that quote from Kryo's making player usable shipstyle posting. Has anyone using my ships found that the AI doesn't arm them? Just curious.

I can't wait to finish these ship sets because I've been playing with the text used in the Mega-Events and changing them to fit my mod is so easy I feel like a kid at Christmas.

What I can do with no problems now: Changing the Dread Lords to the Andromedans and Change the Jagged Knife to an Orion Pirate clan.

I'm not sure if I can change the "race from outside the galaxy appearing and colonize a world" event will allow me to make them a Neo-Tholian refuge race. So I might not be able to alter that one. Still looking at it.

I can make the Dreadlords look like Andromedan ships. I can make Pirates look like Orions but I have zero experience with the Peacekeepers. I've never seen them, I've never had the event and I have no idea what the ships look like. I can easily change the text of the event to fit whatever I want but if I can change there ships too I'd like to turn them in to the Borg.

That is good to know.

Yeah I like the Oberth class myself, I'm trying not to get too sidetracked on expansion packs since I so dearly need to finish up the first ship sets. But . . . the second ship expansion pack is already going to be titled: The Great Experiment. You trek fans should know that means the Excelsior. So that ship pack will include 3 ship classes. Excelsior(Huge); Oberth(Small); and Constellation(Medium).

And as for the upcoming expansion pack I like sethpenguin's Kzinti Death's Claw. I'll tweek it a little so the engines match the other Kzinti ships and replace the wings to Kzinti weapon arms but other then that its a beautiful ship that deserves to be added. Full credit to sethpenguin.

what about Borg they have a leader the Queen of Borg or the Borg Queen, i don't know. but i am currently working on Borg ships but unfortunately i am using Kryo's Hull System Mod so.

am just asking am who are the Breen becase i don't relly know them that well the Orions the Cardassians even the Lyran a little but i don't know much about the Breen.

Well, indirectly you can get their 'default' data set straight off the reference xml file or by scanning through the str... i've seen them at least once and IIRC, they had some regular minor race ship styles.

Completing the entire 12 races set (you wouldn't want to tackle up the custom #12 as it is a risky attempt to configure & install *properly* from a Mod folder, btw) implicates going for elements outside Fed/Emp usual context;

To me, Star Trek is an extremely vast subject but there are specific cases which, in general, are known enough to be considered 'Major';

Beyond TOS, we got TNG, DS9, VOY & ENT.

- The Borg (by Q-Continuum) & Ferengi were introduced in TNG.
- Breen, Cardassian & Bajorans were mainly into DS9.
- Kazon, Okompa, Maquis, The 'Plague' & plenty more could be tied straight with VOY.
- And ENT, mostly covered some pre-TOS era... namely the "Insectoids" and the true 'Tholian' & 'Andorian', etc.

I've played some with Klingon ships, latest TA version, and, yes, AI neither arms, nor puts any defenses on the ships no matter how much into weapons/defense tree I research.
