Beta 6a
Bugs,
Is it worth submitting any of these:
1,
The camera on the main screen, almost every time I zoom in to a ship and rotate
around it using the middle mouse button, the camera decides to start moving of
its own accord, constantly in a set direction, I can counter this by moving the
mouse against the cameras motion but it’s a constant resistance even then.
2,
Has anyone else ever had the mini map and half the interface disappear from
view, without pressing anything or toggling any options. I saved my game and
returned to the screen to find only the bottom most buttons still visible.
3, I realize the economy is more difficult to manage in TA but on debt, after
coming out of debt, I was unable to research or build on any planet (including
the homeworld), I clicked end turn about 20 times but nothing changed, is this
because I was in debt too long or a bug? The status remained unchanged from
‘never’.
Wishlist
A)
A setting to enable aggressive colonization/invasion of minor races from the
main game setup screen, much like the scenario editor has. This has been a
constant wish of many people since minor races were nerfed, in numerous
threads, I know a number of players are against it, hence the 'option'.
The ability to add all/more races to a scenario than the standard amount, this
was possible in the original Galciv 2 but strangely became restricted in DA,
someone even designed a unique modded United Planets screen to support them all.
C)
Emergency Debt Relief event or game mechanic. The ability to borrow or take a
loan from a race or an event that sometimes fires when you go into debt, could
be an interesting RP tool, if you don’t pay back the loan, mercenaries or
pirates start showing up at your colonies.
D)
Breakaway Colonies, I know this is in DA in some form but in all my games I
have never seen it. It would be a really immersive event, if rare, to have a
colony of mine suddenly inform me that they were the legitimate government and
let a battle for the empire begin, a civil war. Might be based on certain
conditions, like you being vastly superior to all your enemies or being
involved in a long war that’s straining your empire, having low approval etc.
