The Confederation of Planets has arisen. A new age in the galaxy is about to begin. An age of Peace, Exploration, Freedom, and Galactic stability for all in its empire. No mater the cost. We shall live peacefully and separately from all other forms of governments and empires that are out there.

So i ask you as I stand here waiting for the people of the confederacy to come. I wander if people like to be tormented by the ruthless of others empires out there as they kill all those that stand in there way with brutal efficacy. I wander if they wish to be suppressed by an empire of barbaric self indulge Emperors that know nothing but to conquer all and enslave them for there honor or enjoyment. As I stand here Emperor Gordon Freeman of the United Confederation of Planets. I wait for all that do not wish to be oppressed. Everybody will be equal, everybody will have a right and a say what happens in the Confederation so help me no help your selves from the evil of Metaverse and join The United Confederation of Planets for the batter of all and your self.

I would like to thank all members of the confederacy with out your help we would never have gotten where we are to day congratulations to you all. Are new goal is to reach the top ten spot in the Metaverse so let us rise to victory.

SimCity Societies

don't you dare bag simcity stuff... it's cool as man.

besides Blizzard is better than EA, StarCraft is STILL a best seller after it's been outdated.

EA is evil for more than just the bad game quality,
1. EA uses the most strict DRM system
2. EA buys out smaller companies and buys their franchises.
3. They charge you money to play online.

EA should let Maxis make the next Sim City instead of those retards at Tilted Mill. If I were Maxis I would disband and join Stardock.

Welcome to corperate life. it's a dog eat dog town fellas. (Also fish eat fish )

EA is pretty much a standard company by the sounds of it. it's all about money. Even stardock go by that policy. EVERY company does. Money Money Money, It's just EA was smarter than the rest and took risks on bigger deals. Like pay online play. people could defect to pther games but they didn't so now ea Gets more Gross income and can spend more to equal out the net income. the company benefits more and they pocket the little extra Cash.

Maxis wouldn't sell up coz they get some good cash. they move to Stardock they'd get the initial burst of millions then get paid less if they get hired by stardock. most likely face unemployment for a while. It's very hard to start over.

The corperate world Is VERY different to the chain of command which you are relating this too. these are just people living their lives, nothing evil about that. They grasp the chance for more money. If anything they are more like Farengi rather that klingons.

I just wanted to stop by and thank Freeman43 for the invitation to the Confederation.  Thank you sir for the kind words and the warm welcome back.

However, I must decline your offer to join your mighty Confederation.  I am a warrior who lives without rules, I go where I want to go, do what I want to do, say what I want to say, and kill who I want to kill.  It seems to me that if I join your "Confederation", I will surely be limited.  I do not like limitations sir.  Therefore, with heavy heart, I must decline.  You can take solace in the fact that I will not join the Kzinti.  I detest the feline species even more than rules and regulations!

Seriously though.  Thank you again for the invite.  See you in Deep Space...... Confederate!

A meesage to the Confederation

who="Freeman43" reply="GSC Thread" id="1902834"]
they only work in a short term game. one person drives the empire to the stars but one thing all ways happens the leader lose control, screws up, goes nuts or dies its the uneatable then that empire goes in to the ground and burns.

but a democracy or a confederation council acts like a safety net it slows production yes but instead of following one man the follow the people.

Short? The Geckodon Alliance has been traveling through space and colonizing worlds for more than a thousand years. Which is way before Confederation was around. I ask why are you saying these things? Are you trying to make us change our goverment, cause our goverment is unchangable, it is written in the Sacred Documents of Foundation, the book which contains the rules of our society and our constitution.

Yes, cause we aren't humans and we're smarter than humans, we got into space a thousand years before you, our ships are the most powerful in the galaxy and we defeated the original Grox while the rest of the galaxy was too afraid to go near them.

Quoting Seeker,

I didn't say anything about us being stuck . Our technology has progressed over the last 1000 years. We recently gave upgrades to some of our ships, giving them more firepower so that we can prepare ourselves as we get closer to getting in the top 10.
