I was thinking about buying the next expansion and was checking out the specs and reqs. So I saw that you have to own "GC2: Gold" or "GC2 + Dark Avatar" in order to use "Twilight of the Arnor".

I bought the game right after it was released and thus only own "GC2: Dread Lords". So I was wondering if there will be a special offer to buy the "Dark Avatar"- and "Twilight of the Arnor"-Expansion Packs together for the old customers? Because having to buy "GC2: Gold" when I somehow already own more than half of it seems not so attractive to me...

You can buy just Dark Avatar, no need to buy the Gold edition.

There was a bundle deal a month or so ago, but it seems to have expired. So currently the best option is to just order them individually.

TotalGaming.Net is also an option, as Peace Phoenix pointed out. With tokens, the combined cost is only ~$42 (6 tokens at approx. $7 value), but to go that route you've got to buy a 10-pack of tokens to start with, which costs $69.95. Granted you'd then have 4 tokens left with which to get other games on TGN, but it's up to you if you want to make that big of an investment.

Yea, that's a great deal. I went for it when it was first offered, but I think the price has gone up $5, still a great deal though.
