It's mentioned in the manual that you can upgrade ships by type. How? I can only upgrade one ship at a time, and that's a real drag when some are in fleets, because i have to disband the fleet first and then spread the individual ships out to get one ship pr parsec, and only THEN upgrade them....!

Upgrade one ship... while doing that click the checkbox under the picture of the ship (don't know the exact text... something like "upgrade all")

When upgrading a ship there is a check box on the screen that allows you to upgrade all ships of that type to the new kind. You'll see the cost for all for all of them, and the turnaround time will be shown in a range (1 Week - 4 Weeks, for example).

i found the "upgrade all such ships" but i still can't work around the create fleet-thingie...

this one is for the developers:

There're considerable high fatigue points invovled in managing fleets and their compositions!!
